We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving production efficiency, stabilizing manufacturing processes, and leading automation and equipment upgrades across the plant.
What You’ll Do
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Develop production tooling using SolidWorks (2D/3D)
- Lead process optimization and productivity improvements on production lines
- Perform root cause analysis using statistical and Lean methods
- Conduct FMEA, DOE, and process validation on new and existing products
- Support new product launches and design changes for manufacturability
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality)
- Support automation projects, including:
- Robotics
- PLC integration
- Vision systems
- End-of-arm tooling
- Fixtures and gauges
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (considered with strong background)
- 3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering in fabrication
- Strong tooling design experience
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (required)
- Exposure to:
- Automation / robotics
- PLCs
- Project or initiative ownership experience
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methods
