    Manufacturing Estimator

    Hudson, WI | Direct Hire | $26-35/hr

    Konik is partnering with a local manufacturer seeking an experienced Estimator with manufacturing industry experience to support the sales and production teams by accurately analyzing customer requests, specifications, and blueprints to develop competitive and profitable cost proposals. 

    Manufacturing Estimator Responsibilities:

    • Review project specifications and customer requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates and quotes.
    • Evaluate materials, labor, tooling, waste, and equipment needs to ensure accuracy and profitability.
    • Stay current on material pricing, industry standards, and production capabilities
    • Track job performance vs. estimated time and cost to continuously improve estimating accuracy.
    • Collaborate with sales to ensure customer eligibility and alignment with pricing strategies.
    • Identify and communicate change orders or scope modifications.
    • Support customer relationships by actively listening, understanding needs, and recommending viable solutions.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of competitive offerings to support sales growth.

    Manufacturing Estimator Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of industry experience in fabrication, welding, or related manufacturing.
    • Prior estimating experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
