Job Description

Manufacturing company for consumer products is seeking a candidate with accounting experience and excellent organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP software and EDI orders from major retailer portals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handles Accounts Receivables (A/R): Aging, reconciliation, credit notes, month‐end

Responsible for Accounts Payables (A/P): vendor payments, chargebacks, shipping, customs import duties, maintains A/P terms, contacts, and account details in payment portals.

Facilitates new account setups and maintains courteous customer service relationships with clients and vendors. Follows up with customers and sales representatives regarding deductions, chargebacks, and compliance

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‐year institution or 2 years related experience and/or 5 years of related experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting capacity

Working knowledge and experience with accounting procedures and highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data

Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and time management skills; Ability to multi‐task, balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining proficient attention to detail

Ability to work in a team‐oriented atmosphere while possessing the flexibility to independently manage own priority workflow and responsibilities

Extensive knowledge of the following software: Sage ERP, QuickBooks, Excel, Word, Outlook
