    IT NETWORKS SPECIALIST – MANUFACTURING

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are looking for IT Networks Specialists with Experience in IT Network Infrastructure, including knowledge of Architecture, Equipment, and Wiring for Vehicle Manufacturing facilities.

    Selected Specialist will need to be well-versed in Network Technologies for Manufacturing and capable of working independently and/or in a team environment

    Support Implementation, installation, and troubleshooting of all network-related equipment (Hubs, Gateways, Routers, Repeaters, Bridges, Switches), Industrial Ethernet Controls Network (IECN), and wiring in the manufacturing environment

    Support connectivity and communication systems to various automation, including PLC’s’, Robotics, Safety systems, and other equipment

    Work closely with the plant manufacturing team and central cybersecurity team during equipment installation

    Help to resolve any network connectivity issues during equipment installation

    Utilizes the plant IT reporting system to identify, communicate, and fix endpoint security issues

    Maintain an inventory of all network assets

    Support user acceptance test activities for connecting IECN switches and devices to the plant networks

    Attend plant and corporate meetings and document activities when required

    Provide technical Support to Plant IT after equipment installation

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

    · 5+ years of experience planning, implementing, installing, setting up, wiring, and debugging Manufacturing IT Networks and infrastructure.

    · Experience wiring and/or rerouting CAT5/6 cables, Adding Rj45 Connectors, Ethernet, and splicing cables

    · Familiar with Cisco 9300 & Cisco 9200 Switches

    · Familiar with Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Ethernet IP, PLC’s, and industrial field bus communication networks

    · Familiar with manufacturing Controls standards such as GCCH, GCCS, GCCB, PFCN / IECN

    · Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate in a cross-functional team

    · Associate Degree with 2+ Years of experience or a bachelor’s degree

    · Cisco certified in CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, highly desired

    · Solid Understanding of IT Networks Infrastructure

    · Must be able to travel up to 80% to Clients' Manufacturing Facilities as part of a team or alone.

    · Travel domestically or internationally may be required. (US, Canada, Mexico)

    · Must have a valid US Passport

    · Ability to work Weekends, Holidays, and various Shifts when required

    · This is an Hourly position with 40 hrs. workweek plus
