Duties and Responsibilities for hands-on Maintenance Technician:
- Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines such as high voltage equipment
- Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and perform preventitive maintenance.
- Provide urgent and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production
- Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
- Troubleshoot diagnose and installation of wiring, electrical equipment and systems in the plant
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Comply with safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Trade School preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience
- Use of schematics, blueprints and diagrams
- Basic PLC and AC drive; 480V troubleshooting experience
- 3 phase motors
