Manufacturing Manager Location: Phoenix, Arizona Job Type: Full-time | Onsite Compensation: $140,000 – $155,000 per year (based on experience) Relocation: Available for the right candidate

About the Role:- We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team in our Phoenix, AZ facility. This role will focus on new product development, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-mix, low-volume production environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader with proven experience managing teams, implementing efficient manufacturing processes, and driving operational excellence across production lines.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee qualification and implementation of new manufacturing processes.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing Technicians and Engineers.

Establish and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.

Define time standards, cost estimates, and economic run quantities for production.

Evaluate, justify, and implement new manufacturing equipment and technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve process issues.

Support automated manufacturing cells to improve stability and reduce labor variation.

Ensure design manufacturability through engineering reviews and process feedback.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Participate in cost estimation and proposal support for new programs.

Travel up to 10% as required.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in engineering or operations within a manufacturing environment.

3+ years of management or supervisory experience.

Experience in manufacturing circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics.

Strong understanding of IPC and NASA standards.

Hands-on experience in process engineering from raw material to finished product.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Lean or Six Sigma Certification (preferred).

Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines and process setup.
