    Job Description

    The Manufacturing Planner functions as the crossroads of manufacturing, quality, and engineering as they create and document work instructions used to manufacture, assemble, process, and test customer product per customer requirements.

    What will my responsibilities include?

    • Create manufacturing plans and bill of materials, capturing all customer engineering, drawing, and specification requirements
    • Maintain part settings and revision control within ERP system
    • Become a source of technical expertise on various manufacturing processes and process specification requirements
    • Other duties as assigned

    What key skills and experience do I need?

    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, drawings, standards, etc.
    • Understanding of aerospace tooling methods a plus
    • Be proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications
    • Experienced with processes such as machining and assembly
    • Strong spatial visualization ability, mechanical aptitude, arithmetic, and problem solving skills
    • Able to multi-task and work well without supervision
    • Be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills
    • Possess a positive attitude and be a motivated self-starter
    • Use good judgment and common sense to make numerous daily decisions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Coordinates and collaborates with all other departments of the Company
    • Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills
    • Anticipates internal and external customer needs, gives high priority to customer satisfaction and service
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Preferred:

    • Strong background in CAD software (CATIA, etc.), and Excel
    • Strong background in machining or aerospace assembly techniques
    • Experience reading blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) data
    • Preferred experience in Epicor or equivalent ERP system
    • Working knowledge of Lean principles such as single piece flow, kanban systems, and 5S

    Salary Offering: $27.00 per hour to $45.00 per hour

    Shift: M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm
