Compensation: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary
The Porter supports the upkeep of the manufacturing plant and surrounding grounds. This role is responsible for routine cleaning, assisting with preventive maintenance tasks, helping mechanics as needed, and supporting general facility operations. This is a full-time, entry-level friendly position with training provided and opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Clean offices, restrooms, cafeteria areas, and other plant facilities
Vacuum, sweep, and clean surfaces throughout the manufacturing plant
Assist with basic plant and grounds maintenance activities
Complete preventive maintenance checklists and scheduled tasks
Help remove scrap, waste, and other unwanted materials using hand trucks, carts, and forklifts
Assist mechanics and observe repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Support the general cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Entry-level applicants are welcome
Prior experience in custodial work, general maintenance, or manufacturing is a plus
Experience with maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry is helpful but not required
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned checklists, and work safely in an industrial environment
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Work Schedule
Full-time
Monday through Friday
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Overtime as needed
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing plant environment and may involve cleaning industrial areas, moving materials, and assisting with facility and equipment-related tasks. Employees may be required to use carts, hand trucks, or forklifts and should be comfortable working in an active production setting.
Probationary period applies to this position.
