Summary Of Job Responsibilities The Manufacturing Process Controls Engineer is responsible for helping direct, coordinate and actively participate in creating a sustainable culture of continuous improvement with focus on manufacturing equipment systems controls and integration. Key Responsibilities include assessment of the current manufacturing infrastructure and activities, development of the future state vision, and execution to reach future state. The role encompasses all product segments within the Denver Plant and may interact with other Band-It plants around the world regarding equipment & process controls standardization.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job successfully.
Advanced understanding of PLC programming and HMI development, specifically Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge of servo and stepper motor theory of operation and condition monitoring techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge of current standards and codes as related to machine safety and fail-safe design (ISO, NFPA, NEMA, NEC, ANSI).
Demonstrated knowledge of Electrical design principles and familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Basic knowledge of database fundamentals, computer operating systems.
Experience with data analysis using basic statistical comparison techniques & Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in training and mentoring employees on process improvements and lean techniques.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional projects.
