    This role offers a great entry point into supply chain and procurement operations, with a specific focus on supporting sourcing efforts for materials and components used in advanced testing equipment. Ideal for someone eager to grow in a dynamic, technically driven environment.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with engineering and production teams to clarify materials specifications and procurement needs.
    • Source suppliers and request quotes for a range of items including electronic parts, machined components, and consumables.
    • Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders; ensure timelines and delivery schedules are maintained.
    • Support vendor communications to confirm order accuracy, delivery status, and address any order discrepancies.
    • Track and maintain procurement data using an ERP system, ensuring all supplier and pricing information is current.
    • Participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining purchasing processes and reducing overall procurement costs.
    • Review and help assess supplier performance, using key metrics like delivery reliability, pricing, and product quality.

    What You’ll Bring:

    • A degree (Associate or Bachelor’s) in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or a supply chain function—preferably in a manufacturing context.
    • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • ERP system experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable but not required.
    • Understanding of both mechanical and electronic components is a definite advantage.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to coordinate across departments.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Bonus Skills & Experience:

    • Ability to interpret BOMs and basic engineering drawings.
    • Familiarity with ISO or other quality compliance systems.
    • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
    • Awareness of fundamental supply chain principles.
    • The pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
