Manufacturing firm in Mansfield Texas seeks a well-organized Scheduler to coordinate and monitor the flow of products through our production cycle, providing timely planning and scheduling reports on the work orders to the production floor to track both run times requirements and update the time standards to reflect actual time spent to completion.

Job Functions

· Review Purchase Orders and Create Sales Orders

o Review incoming Purchase Orders

o Check that NAC has parts numbers for each line item on the POs

Inform Engineering if new part numbers are needed

o Make a Sales Order in the ERP

o Produce Work Orders in the ERP

o Assign production crews as appropriate

· Generate Pull Lists

o Generate Pull Lists in the ERP and record them in Smartsheet

Update Engineering if new part numbers are needed to be assigned

· Build and Maintain Schedule

o Develop schedule in Smartsheet, subject to

§ Due dates

§ Machine capabilities and limitations

§ Costs and financial goals

§ Raw materials

· Availability

· Like materials

§ Process parameters

· Technicians availability temperatures ranges and speeds

o Coordinate/expedite manufacturing to ensure schedules are achieved

· Monitor and Report Progress and Delays

o Coordinate between Warehouse and Production in Event of Material Shortages

o Update Sales of any scheduling impacts to customers

o Raise awareness to Plant Manager/Leadership Team for potential areas of production opportunities/concern/exposure

Requirements

· Proficient use of computer systems and software applications, including ERP and MRP
