We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Manufacturing Safety Coordinator to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help ensure that our operations comply with safety regulations and standards, while also fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary info:

$30 - $35 / hr
