Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Software Developer works closely with a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain C# applications using Visual Studio for new and existing test and assembly machines and fixtures. This role is responsible for taking software projects from concept to completion, maintaining an Automated Work Instructions application, and developing new programs to drive efficiency and automation on the production floor.

Required
Preferred
Familiarity with one or more communication protocols used in PC board and product testing:
USB
CAN (J1939, NMEA2K)
Modbus
Bluetooth
LIN Bus
Wi-Fi
Ethernet
Experience with hardware-software integration or test fixture development.
Exposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES) or work instruction platforms.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates primarily on the manufacturing floor and in a software development environment. The Manufacturing Software Developer is expected to be regularly present on the production floor to support equipment integration, troubleshooting, and testing. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
