    BC Motion LLC is a Minnesota company specializing in the Electronic Design and Manufacture of unique products using motor control and wireless communications.

    We are seeking an experienced individual to be the technical lead for our manufacturing facility; with a work week of Monday - Thursday. Our aim is to work with individuals who are quality-minded, pleasant, on time and have a good work ethic.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Electronic and mechanical assembly, programming and testing

    Repair, solder, modify, rework electronic assemblies

    Analyze, report on and rework production fallout

    Build and test electrical circuit boards and cables

    Improve manufacturing flow and improve process documentation

    Manage machine repairs, upgrades and training

    Build engineering prototypes and test fixtures

    Component, equipment and material purchasing when needed

    Requirements:

    Three or more years’ experience as an electronic technician

    Soldering/de-soldering/replacement experience of surface mount components.

    Experience with making prototype electronics assemblies, small components, by hand,

    Strong troubleshooting capabilities

    Training in electricity and electronics, with a 2 or 4 year degree preferred.

    Able to train others to use electronics tools like multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supplies, waveform generators

    Safety-minded and skilled

    English language: excellent speaking and writing level

    Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Good communication skills, positive attitude and eagerness to learn

    Based in Saginaw, MN

    Desired Capabilities:

    IPC certifications or similar training and experience levels in soldering and crimping

    Knowledge and experience working in an ISO9001 or similar environment

    Experienced with calibration procedures and tools

    Knowledge of UL or other product certification, willing and able to work with auditors on occasion
