Manufacturing Technician

Eagan, MN | Contract to Hire | $23 – $28/hour

4-day work week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)

Seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production and assembly in a custom fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic shop experience who enjoys working with tools, learning new skills, and contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic shop equipment (miter saw, drill press, grinders, etc.)
• Perform assembly, drilling, cutting, and basic fabrication tasks
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Read tape measures and assist with basic print interpretation
• Support packaging, crating, and shipping preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with general shop and material handling duties

Qualifications

• Some experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

Preferred Skills

• Aluminum welding experience
• Electrical wiring experience
• Forklift experience
