    The HR Generalist is tasked with providing administrative and clerical support across various human resources functions, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, performance management, compliance, HRIS, and record maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in the recruitment process by managing job postings, coordinating interviews, tracking candidate status, and conducting pre-hire background checks.

    Coordinate and oversee temporary employee management, including new hire and termination processes with staffing agencies.

    Aid in the development and updating of job descriptions as needed.

    Support benefits administration, including monitoring employee eligibility, facilitating annual open enrollment, and assisting with benefits-related inquiries.

    Facilitate onboarding activities, administer new hire paperwork, educate employees on compliance and benefits, and provide ongoing support for employee inquiries.

    Assist in organizing and maintaining employee training records and matrices.

    Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verifications.

    Manage employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, and maintain accurate recordkeeping.

    Maintain employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    Support termination and offboarding processes.

    Contribute to the establishment of departmental metrics aligned with company strategic goals.

    Assist in planning and executing company events, such as benefits open enrollment, meetings, employee recognition, and holiday celebrations.

    Stay updated on employment laws and regulations through participation in professional development opportunities.

    Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 Policies and Procedures.

    Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.

    Minimum of 2+ years of human resources experience.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Detail-oriented and thorough approach.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Basic understanding of employment laws and practices.

    Ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines and prioritize tasks.

    Proficient in English language, both written and verbal.

    Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's Degree.

    PHR or SHRM-CP Certification (preferred).

    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

    Experience with Workday HRIS.

    Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Working Hours:

    Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
