We have an exciting Design Drafter role with one of the areas best and fastest growing manufacturers. Will collaborate with the Engineering Clerk to execute Engineering Changes (ECN) related to product models, drawings, and current materials/operations. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with 3D engineering software in creating and modifying manufacturing drawings and product models. Ensure that design drawings adhere to provided specifications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Process Request for Engineering Approval (REA) packages and draft ECNs for production drawing changes or In-Process Deviations (IPDs).

Create or modify models and drawings using CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.

Manage the check-in/out and change of state of models and drawings in the Product Data Management (PDM) vault.

Handle Customer Service Request (CSR) packages for new production designs.

Develop or modify labels/nameplates utilizing label software such as EasyLabel and BarTender.

Work closely with engineering team to design specialized manufactured products.

Work closely with the quality and customer service teams to ensure product meets customer standards

Contact end user via email or telephone to ensure design specifications meet customer standards

Skills/Qualifications:

Associates degree in a related field or a minimum of one year of experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, computer skills, SolidWorks software knowledge, and understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.

Detail-oriented with effective communication skills, ability to multitask, quick study, capable of prioritizing workload, and adept at working in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

Associates Degree in an engineering-related field or 1+ years of CAD experience.

Hours: 7AM-4PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $26-$30/hr DOE
