    Maple Star Colorado is a multi-service agency providing Foster Care, Clinical and Community Services. Maple Star began providing foster care in Denver in 1994 and has since grown to provide in-home, community and office based services throughout the Front Range. Our trauma informed approach to working with children and families is evidenced is all of our programs with a focus on healing, relationship and providing high quality client care.

    The Hiring Specialist manages hiring processes within Career Plug to advance potential qualified applicants to agency program Directors/Supervisors.

    The Hiring Specialist will work closely with HR and be the liaison between HR and Maple Star Colorado.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Review Career Plug daily.

    Systematically and efficiently move applicant through the hiring process.

    Reach out by email/telephone to prospective applicants.

    Communicate and document all interactions appropriately.

    Utilize critical thinking skills to assess appropriateness of applicants.

    Initiate quarterly calls with HR Director and Maple Star Colorado Executive Director.

    Initiate and have ongoing communication with HR recruiting representatives.

    Coordinate and facilitate accurate start dates for new hires with Maple Star Colorado Office Manager.

    Act as a liaison between HR and Maple Star Colorado staff.

    As requested by supervisor, assist supervisor in obtaining references.

    Complete job requisitions as requested by Supervisors.

    Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Psychology or related field or a non-related Bachelor's degree and 1 year work in the human service field.

    Must have current fingerprint clearance (and maintain during employment) and be able to pass the background check.

    Proof of: valid CO driver's license, valid auto insurance coverage as well as proof of education are required.
