Community Support Specialist

Expected Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

About your role:

Provide crisis management and other essential life skills supportive services.

Provide education around trauma and its effects on children and families.

Provide information and contacts for community resources.

Provide trauma informed care principles and psychoeducation based around life skills, parenting, and healthy relationship, etc.

Collaboration with all case representative at the county level

Supervision around quality and timely documentation and outreach efforts

Working a flexible yet consistent schedule to help with family and individual needs.

Working in a team atmosphere

Free supervision toward licensure

Does the following apply to you?

High School Diploma or equivalency required. Further coursework or education (Bachelors) in human services related field preferred.

Six (6) months preferred relevant experience

Knowledge of local agencies and other community resources that may serve youth, families, and foster care services.

Proof of valid Driver License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance

Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
