Summary:
Reporting directly to the Rehabilitation Skills Coordinator, the Rehabilitation Skills Worker is responsible for providing specialized service to clients based on need as established in the treatment plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet weekly/daily with clients as required, to ensure their needs are met. Involves meeting one on one interaction with client, many times in a non-controlled environment. Must be able to independently assess situations and to quickly modify scheduled outings as needs change.
· Review the file, treatment plan and cultural considerations from the referring worker.
· Responsible for developing and facilitating group activities when appropriate.
· Maintain daily service logs of all client related activities using approved progress notes format.
· Submit payroll and billing information timely and accurately.
· Attend all mandatory meetings/training sessions.
Working Conditions:
· Working conditions are varied with client visits most often scheduled in the client’s home or real life environment of the family.
· Must be available to work at least 10 hours per week.
· Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
· Moderate walking, standing and sitting are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must possess a high school diploma and three years experience working with treatment level children, or in a social worker related field.
· A valid Nevada driver’s license and access to personal automobile with required insurance coverage is required.
· Must be able to complete a criminal justice and a child abuse registry check as required by state rules.
· Must work independently.
· Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, sort and organize; perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Demonstrate strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
· Must be able to independently make decisions demonstrating sound judgment.
· Demonstrate the ability and willingness to assume additional tasks.
Preferred but not required: Operating experience with PC skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office with the major focus on Word, Excel and Power Point is a plus.
