For over 25 years Choices Group Inc. has been of the largest Behavioral Health Treatment Agencies in Nevada. We provide Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Co-occurring Treatment Services for clients in the Criminal Justice Systems, Medicaid and private insurance in an outpatient treatment setting. We are practicum/ Intern sites for UNLV, UNR and for internships with the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Gambling Counselors, The Nevada Marriage and Family Therapist Board and the Nevada Board of Social Work. Summary:
Provides operational support to local Maple Star office, which may be responsible for, but not limited to: payroll, eligibility and authorization management, denial reconciliation, and credentialing. This position also completes employee onboarding functions and manages personnel files.
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Eligibility and Authorization Management
Manages front-end operational processes (insurance and eligibility verification , acquisition and tracking of accurate client demographic data)
Reviews, analyzes, and resolves problems related to the accuracy of service and claim related data in the Electronic Health Record system.
Denial Reconciliation
Works with operations and national Revenue Cycle team to ensure clean claims
Monitors and resolves services in error status, runs exception reports, works the aging, and coordinates with other staff to promote efficient flow of information and clean claims.
Credentialling
Compiles and submits payroll
Compiles and reconciles productivity reports
Manages end to end the process of credentialing providers with various payers
Provides administrative support for office professionals to include front desk coverage, answering and fielding phone calls, client scheduling, making reminder calls, copy work, faxing, and filing.
Maintains office supplies.
Assists with the recruiting and onboarding of new employees
Maintains employee files
Assists new hires through the hiring and clearance process.
Acquires all required documents and ensure compliance with contracts and payers.
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent education and two (2) years of administrative support experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Proof of: valid NV driver’s license, valid auto insurance coverage as well as proof of education are required.
