TCRP Night Staff
Summary: Reporting directly to the TCRP Home Manager/Case Manager, the TCRP night staff is responsible for supervision, safety, and general custodial care to youth living in the TCRP home.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Night Staff must be available to work flexible and non-traditional hours. Typical schedules run 10:00pm-6:00am.
Staff may sleep during shift however, they must perform 3 nightly room checks to ensure that youth are safe, abiding by conditions of Parole, and in compliance with the rules of the TCRP home.
Assist and instruct TCRP residents with daily living skills, including personal hygiene and household management
Record and report observations and complete required documentation.
Respond to emergency situations regarding youth and/or the safety of the home.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to complete a criminal justice and a child abuse registry check as required by state rules.
Valid Nevada driver’s license at the time of appointment.
Must have reliable transportation
Driving record that allows for the transportation of youth.
Must be able to independently make decisions demonstrating sound judgment.
Must be able to walk, run, and climb stairs while supervising youth.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrate the ability and willingness to assume additional tasks.
Experience with the Juvenile Justice System and/or high risk youth
Laws, rules, and regulations, terminology which apply to area of responsibility.
Communicate clearly both orally and written.
