    Summary

    The Foster Care Training and Support (FCTS) Specialist Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of FCTS Specialists and Skills Trainers, as well as providing and overseeing DHS foster care training and support services and Skills Training services.

    Education, Certifications and License Requirements

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree

    Experience

    3 years of relevant experience or 2 years with a Master’s Degree

    At least 1 year of experience in the foster care system and prior supervisory experience

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Valid Driver License with clean driving record

    CPR/First Aid – provided by agency

    Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – provided by agency

    Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks

    Obtain QED status for the agency

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    Coordination of new hire procedures and training of program staff

    Facilitation and oversight of various program and staff meetings

    Accurate processing of employee timesheets and invoices

    Assurance of program staff compliance with all agency policies, procedures, protocols, as well as contract and licensing rules requirements

    Budget preparation and management participation

    Available 24 hours per day for on-call back up to program staff

    Develop and track progress toward program goals

    Direct supervision of FCTS Specialists and Skills Trainers
