    Maple Street Biscuit Company is a breakfast/lunch fast casual concept with a mission to help people, serve others, and be a part of the community. We operate on four core principles: Comfort Food with a Modern Twist Made Consistently, Gracious Service, Immaculately Clean, and Sustainable Business. We are hiring a Marketing, Social Media, and Sales Manager (We call it a Head Storyteller) to be based out of our Nashville, TN office.

    The Head Storyteller manages marketing and social media for Maple Street Biscuit Company. It is vital that the Head Storyteller understands and can improve upon the voice of Maple Street. This includes, but is not limited to:

    Posting on Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media channels you feel would be advantageous

    Managing relationships with Google, Yelp, and other review sites

    Responding to reviews, comments, and messages on Facebook, Instagram, Google, Yelp, etc

    Respond to all emails sent to the info@maplestreetbiscuits.com email address within 24 hours. Respond to negative info emails within 2 hours.

    Assist Community Leaders (our version of General Managers/Operators) with event planning (Spirit Nights, Sales Initiatives, Weddings and Receptions, etc)

    Create and manage calendar of company wide sales initiatives and events.

    Reach out to local and national press to gain exposure for Maple Street in general and specific initiatives

    Respond to press inquiries in conjunction with Cracker Barrel Public Relations department

    Create and manage community marketing campaigns

    Assist Community Leaders in strategically choosing local sponsorships

    Design marketing materials

    Travel to new store openings to take photos and create press.

    Manage grand opening event planning and event itself

    Partner with local food bloggers and influencers in each community to help Community Leaders plan events.

    Qualifications:

    Must understand Maple Street’s mission when it comes to marketing.

    Must be able to periodically travel

    Experience managing a company’s social media and growing followers and engagement

    Experience with grassroots marketing

    Experience working with a variety of media channels and building press relationships

    Skilled in graphic design

    Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities

    Professional level verbal and written communication skills

    Servant leadership

    Restaurant marketing a plus

    Knowledge of Maple Street Biscuit Company preferred

    When first hired, this individual must travel to Jacksonville, Florida for training and brand immersion.
