    Job Description

    We are looking for determined Recruiters to assist in staffing positions. You will work closely with the Las Vegas Team in the full cycle recruiting process of hiring great candidates to fill our client's positions.You will be sourcing and attracting potential candidates in various fields such as; light industrial, administrative, or event staff Marathon is in the business of keeping employers running. If it is short-term or long term we work hard to get the best candidates for the job Job Responsibilities: 75% recruiting / 25% administrative Recruiter must have at least 3-5 years of experience in recruiting Managing the recruiting process, including screening and tracking applicants, interviewing, checking references, and making employment offers. Evaluate candidates strengths compared with clients' requirements Identify, select and recommend the best candidates for the client requirement Be able to sell a candidate during telephone conversations and the interview Be able to successfully place candidates in suitable positions that meet the candidate's needs as well as the client's Be able to coach candidates and assist with resume creation when needed Be able to work as a team with both the recruiters and sales transforming individual goals into team goals Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive environment Participate in community events such as job fairs Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate thorough documentation on employees Have a strong desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment and be capable of regularly using independent judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements Possess strong written and communication skills Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the company's values, philosophies and leadership characteristics Know Marathon's history, commitment, etc Be able to consistently follow company policies, processes and procedures Must be detailed and well organized Must be able to multitask Must have excellent communication and troubleshooting skils Able to work both independently and within a team environment Have reliable transportation, solid work history and character, and a professional demeanor Must be able to complete other duties as assigned Know key employment laws (federal and local)and have a firm understanding of appropriate responses to our candidates' and clients' requests from an HR perspective Be able to do the payroll for the office from start to finish (including dealing with checks, adjustments, etc) Be able to work with the Operations department on issues involving candidates that have to do with Workers Comp, Unemployment Comp, Forms, etc. Be able to communicate to clients and candidates in a way that fosters trust, builds solutions to problems, and demonstrates superior customer service Possess the ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Be able to use Word and Excel proficiently and learn new programs such as our internal system Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test Pay depends on experience Commission Pay Company Description Our company enjoys longstanding stability, having been in business for over 30 years.
