    Job Description

     

    Marathon TS, Inc. has a need for Software Engineers of all levels to join our newly awarded prime contract! We are seeking Principal, Senior, and Mid-level software engineers for a contract supporting a large Intelligence Community (IC) agency customer in St Louis, MO. This project will help stand up a first-of-its-kind Software Engineering team to deliver geospatial capabilities to the customer. You will have maximum collaboration by working side-by-side with government Software Engineers to address the needs of the customer. The tech stack may change depending on the requirements, but the following technologies are prevalent in the environment: SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Scrum, Java, JavaScript, Microservices, Test Driven Development (TDD), Python, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and Redmine. REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent technical degree and 4 years' experience in full stack development to include Java, Web Services, Database, spatial database, NoSQL database, and micro-service development.
    • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
    • Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following:
    • Java, JavaScript or Python enterprise application development
    • Web services architecture, design, and development
    • Relational database design
    • Spatial database design
    • NoSQL database design
    • Micro-service architecture, design and development
    • In depth experience with Agile philosophies, serving as scrum or team lead.
    • Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) techniques, test-driven development, and automated testing practices.
    • Experience working with relational databases.
