OVERVIEW

Remote/Hybrid work environment in NY/NJ/CT.  Marathon Ventures Media Sales manages direct response advertising sales for multiple national networks and local television stations.  In its second decade of continuous growth, Marathon offers a team-oriented, fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to providing clients with the highest level of service.

Sales Assistants are essential to the execution of all campaigns, coordinating with sales teams, sales managers, and clients. As a Sales Assistant at Marathon Ventures Media Sales, you will learn how to be a team player in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Account Executive and Sales Planner in all aspects of the order process
• Data entry and updating new and revised orders in media management systems
• Pull pre and post logs to monitor pre-empts, clearance, and overall delivery
• Maintain the central filing system / shared drive, including all correspondence, contracts and revisions associated with orders
• Coordinate to help resolve problems with copy, billing/invoices, order discrepancies and inventory issues
• Execute all client orders ensuring that they are in approved weekly programming and compliant with all client requirements.
• Liaise with traffic to resolve all advertiser podding issues as needed
• Special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior work experience in an office environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to details working independently or in a team environment.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Able to task switch and work well under pressure and within deadlines
• Special Projects as needed
