We’re looking for an experienced construction worker with a good work ethic, a history of consistent attendance, and great physical strength and stamina to join our team. You’ll work under our construction manager’s direction, alongside a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, to bring our construction plans to life. The ideal candidate will have previous construction experience, be OSHA10 certified, and have knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities: Build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site and tear down old structures Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc. • Respond to work orders and schedule times to complete them with clients • Pick up material and install it at the jobs • Track hours and close out jobs • Troubleshoot and solve problems • Complete apartment renovation tasks (flooring, electrical, sheetrock, plumbing, etc) Qualifications: Able to work in inclement weather like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. Need to be OSHA 10 certified High school diploma or equivalent is required - Associate’s degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred Solid mechanical skills are needed, as are good eye-hand coordination and depth perception Physical stamina and physical strength are needed • Must have a smartphone and be able to use our software • Must use e-mail • Must have a working, reliable vehicle (the truck is preferred but not required) Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly
