Job Description

Internship duration: ~November-February 

The intern will work with the Marc Jacobs ready-to-wear materials team as they develop the woven fabrics for the season. The job will be a hands-on experience with textile development that will be inclusive to our entire development process from start to finish. You would be aiding the entire team in daily tasks while the season progresses.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

-upkeep of fabric archive and libraries

-local sourcing of fabric to use during the season

-arranging fabric tests

-helping to update the design boards with the latest fabric information

-help to organize and price fabric selections

-aid the team members in organizing all fabric information

-occasional errands in midtown
