Job Description

The knitwear production department for the RTW line is responsible for the production of all sweaters and cut and sew garments. The production teams act as a liaison between sales, merchandisers, designers, technical designers, product development, and logistics teams for all production issues that may arise from development through the finished product, always working to maintain consistent brand quality, image and profit goals for all products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organizational duties
• Managing samples
• Building and organizing the fabric library
• Data entry
• Participating in design flow, fittings and production meetings.

Skills Developed:

Interns will refine their ability to multi task, working on several projects at the same time. They will understand the importance of being highly organized and detail oriented, as this plays a very important role in all production positions. After interning with the production team, Interns will walk away with a clear understanding of the day to day that goes into the making of high quality garments.
