Job Description

The Runway Design Team is looking for an intern Intern who will assist the designers of the Ready to Wear Design team for the upcoming season line from January 14th through the end of February. The intern will be involved with sourcing materials, sketches, fittings, embroideries, sewing and overall preparation for the fashion show.

The intern will assist with the following tasks:

• Sourcing fabrics and trims
• Researching fabrics and materials
• Organizing and using the brand design library
• Assisting designers in pattern making, sketching, sewing, etc.
• Creating artwork

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must have valid US work authorization at the time of the internship

• Recent graduate with full time and weekend availability

• Must be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator

• Able to take initiative and multitask

• Experience with embroidery, swatching, fabrics, etc.

• Familiarity with sample room environment

• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
