Position Summary: Hiring for a 1st shift, no weekends Warehouse Associate. The Associate is responsible for picking, verifying, packing, and shipping orders placed by retail stores. Goal is to assure that all shipments arrive to customers correctly and at requested times. The Warehouse Associate must maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse as well as assisting with various miscellaneous (occasionally labor intensive) tasks both in the warehouse and other departments. The Warehouse Associate assists in receiving warehouse supply materials on incoming purchase orders, verifying quantities of product received and stocking product for order fulfillment. Organizational Values: Culture - Driven - Resilient - Authentic - Focus - Execute - Innovate Essential Responsibilities: Picks, packages, and processes cellular phones, internet products, marketing materials, and other corporate shipping needs as requested by other departments to all retail locations. Average package weight is 30 lbs. or less. Assists customers with will call orders at warehouse locations and directs them to appropriate personnel on concerns they may have regarding the products they ordered. Maintains warehouse cleanliness by sweeping floors, organizing stock, and making sure that their work spaces are neat and organized to be compliant with all established safety guidelines with OSHA safety standards. Operates hand-carts and lift-trucks (if trained/certified) to receive and organize purchase orders and supply shipments. Supports inventory control process by assisting with cycle counts and accounting for misplaced products or materials. Non-Essential Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned. Supervision Received: Specific Direction: Follows established work procedures. Receives periodic checks for performance. Refers unique questions/conditions to immediate supervisor. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to obtain a forklift license.
