    Purpose of Role:

    Marex is seeking a Prime Clearing Sales Associate who will be responsible for a portfolio of Prime Clearing products. Intermediate level position with the ability to work on your own, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients and find new ones to bring flow.

    Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.

    The Prime Services department is a full service Prime Broker providing services to hedge funds, professional traders, family offices, mutual funds, etc. In addition, Prime Services provides trading execution services, clearing & settlement, reporting, financing, stock loan, and comprehensive, high-touch client service.

    This role covers the Sales function within the Prime Services department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Introduce new execution and clearing customers to Marex

    • Responsible for identification of opportunities with new clients and most efficient set-up.

    • To sell clearing and electronic execution services to potential and existing customers with a focus on financial institutions and prospective customers dealing in financial instruments

    • Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.

    • Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies, including but not limited to collaborating with data, research and analytics colleagues to identify opportunities for hedging strategies and clients

    • To promote cross-division and cross-region sales to existing and prospective customers.

    • Maintain constant client performance and risk reviews

    • Attend and represent the firm at industry conventions, market briefings and trade fairs.

    • Organizing sales trips in the relevant regions to grow sales and Marex's presence.

    • Act in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    • Manage Marex market risk for Prime Services within group risk appetite and defined risk limits whilst generating positive returns

    • Collaborate with sales/broking functions to originate hedging solutions and structured transactions, with a cross product selling mind set

    • Strategizing to increase P&L, requiring an evaluation of markets and products.

    • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.

    • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

    • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.

    • At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct

    • Liaising with clients in the US and other countries as appropriate.; clients include [banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional, trading houses, professional traders, family offices, and other trading boutiques.

    • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.

    • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required

    • To escalate risk events immediately

    • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
    • Understanding of Equity and Options, and preferably Fixed Income Trading and Clearing
    • Knowledge of Futures trading and clearing
    • 3-10 years of experience in Financial Services sales and/or marketing.
    • Experience working in and knowledge of Prime Services.
    • Technical skills in Excel, Outlook, and other relevant technology tools
    • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licensed
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
    • Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support Prime Services
    • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
    • Experience in operating on electronic market making infrastructure
    • Experience in risk managing of Equity, Options, and Fixed Income portfolios.
    • Knowledge of the underlying products at Marex within the Prime Services remit

    Salary Range: $150,000 to $175,000 annual base salary.
