PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Working alongside Head of Information Security, the Information Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring that information security policies are consistently enforced and applied across Marex's US entities. This position is for an experienced security professional able to take responsibility for all aspects of information security – from ensuring effective operation of AV and performing access management audits to complete security assessment of 3rd party companies. Wide security experience and knowledge, as well as ability to work with multiple stakeholders, is key to be successful in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with US regulators and auditors
• Maintenance of ISSP
• Establishing and enforcing security standards and procedures in MNA and other Marex entities
• Risk assessments against Marex policies, regulatory requirements or recognized security frameworks
• Leading security projects such as vulnerability scanning, DLP and/or privileged access monitoring
• Participating in 3rd party review and monitoring activities
• Advising IT and business on security matters
• Assessing and monitoring not fully integrated acquisition targets or Marex entities
• Assessing and approving request

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

•  5+ years of Information Security experience
• Expose to multiple security areas
• Ability to talk to stakeholders and regulators
• Provable record to successfully implement information security standards
• Experience of security Cloud solutions desirable
