    Responsibilities:

    Marex is seeking a Futures Brokerage Analyst who will assist in ensuring the accuracy of the firm's Give Up Receivables and Payables and to help improve the turnaround time of these amounts.

The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights, and analytics.

    This is a non-exempt role (This means it is an hourly role that is overtime eligible).

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile the General Ledger to the firm's execution Internal Billing System (IBS);
    • Reconcile the General Ledger to the amounts settled in the Give Up Payment System (GPS).
    • Preparation of month end GL reconciliations. Responsible for the timely resolution of any differences identified on these reconciliations including the input of entries into SUN and/or GMI.
    • Process third party Give Up/In invoices; Verify the trades for payment, allocate the payment for coding in the General Ledger, enter invoices through the firm's AP sub-ledger; Debit clients for any applicable amounts before the invoice is processed.
    • Review existing departmental policies and procedures, and institute updates where needed.
    • Assist the team with the various ongoing audits (Internal, Regulatory, External) by compiling requested information on a timely basis and communicating responses in a prompt effective manner.
    • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
    • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
    • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
    • At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct
      • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.

      • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
    • Proficient with computers and applicable software, especially Excel.
    • Industry knowledge of GMI, GPS, BPS, and Atlantis a plus.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
