The Personal Executive Assistant role is constantly evolving and demands flexibility. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - FAMILY - Drop off/pick up the girls from school and afternoon activities. Engage them in creative and educational activities. Help with homework and assist with the evening routine. Ensure the needs of all other family members are met in a timely manner. Frequent travel around the East Bay and to San Francisco is required. - LIGHT MEAL PREP AND HOUSEKEEPING - SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT - Help to strategically schedule in a way that maximizes the Principal's time. Efficient prioritization of the professional and personal calendars can be achieved with clear, concise correspondence. - TRAVEL - Coordination of domestic/international travel when needed- including booking flights, ground transport, hotels, restaurant reservations, and recommending ways to maximize productivity while traveling. - PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - Oversee daily operations, current/ongoing projects and long- term initiatives, as needed. Act as the point of contact for vendors/laborers/contractors. Maintain a comprehensive database of all vendors/laborers/contractors. - LIASON - Telephone, email, written and in person communication with business associates, personal contacts, and MJD colleagues required daily. - OFFICE MANAGEMENT - Keep all paper files, information and supplies organized for efficient operation of home office and household. Oversee, improve and teach new systems to new staff, as needed.
