    JOB DETAILS Perform history and physical examinations of oncology patients, provide accurate assessment and evaluation of oncology patients, and implement appropriate treatment plans under established protocols and physician supervision Work with patients to Identify the optimum treatments that will be both tolerable and effective Apply chemotherapy and new treatments including target and immunotherapy to patients, Work with patients to utilize all resources available including infusions and specialty medications Coordinate with other specialists both locally and at renowned academic centers. Provide assistance as office management in the doctor’s absence

    REQUIREMENTS Detailed background in oncology clinical medicine Ability to independently prioritize work with minimal direct supervision Professional communication skills including English speaking and writing to ensure clear communication Experienced using an EMR/EHR system (electronic health record), word processing and spreadsheet programs to manage and retrieve patient information Ability to work independently with limited supervision in the outpatient environment while performing a variety of tasks Experienced in proactively organizing, coordinating, and following complex clinical regimens Skill in communicating and translating medical information to patients and their families in a clear way they will understand, including giving patients and families an understanding of their medical condition and what they might expect in the future. Knowledge and proficiency of the English language sufficient to read medical reports and records with comprehension and to prepare reports and correspondence Professional ability to interact effectively and communicate accurately with patients, colleagues and referring physicians Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload and frequent interruption Skill in prioritizing assignment to complete work in a timely and accurate manner Proactively learn and follow practice and Hospital policies and procedures related to functions and responsibilities of the position

    LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Graduated from an accredited MSN or PA program with a focus in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (acute care, Family or Primary program required) National NP or PA certification required Current CA RN ,NP/PA License, BLS, DEA License

    SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Full Time Schedule Monday-Friday with rotating weekends Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year depending on experience Benefits include a SIGNING BONUS, Health insurance, Dental insurance, Vision insurance paid time off, paid parking, Bonuses
