    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

    • Examine, diagnose, and treat animal patients, providing high-quality medical care
    • Perform surgical procedures, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients through all phases of surgery
    • Interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatment plans
    • Advise clients on preventative care, nutritional needs, behavior issues, and general pet care
    • Maintain comprehensive medical records and documentation
    • Assist in emergency cases and provide urgent care when needed
    • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and staff to ensure smooth operations
    • Demonstrate commitment to continuing education to remain current on latest techniques and treatments
    • Promote excellent client communication and education on pet health

    Competencies And Experience

    • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CA
    • 2+ years of clinical experience
    • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Time-management and delegation abilities
    • Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
    • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
