About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Construct and install marine structures including docks, decks, boathouses, seawalls and boat lifts.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.

Utilize various carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing marine installations.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

Stay updated on the latest marine carpentry techniques and materials.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with marine construction.

Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Certification in marine construction or relevant trade is a plus.

Competent swimmer is a must.
