About the Role:

Hawley Construction is looking for a skilled Marine Construction professional to join our team in Fort Myers, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to work on the water, building and maintaining docks, piers, and other marine structures in one of Florida's most beautiful coastal communities. Responsibilities:

Construct, repair, and maintain marine structures including docks, piers, boardwalks, decks, and boat lifts

Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and project specifications

Operate marine construction equipment such as pile drivers, barges, and marine cranes

Perform carpentry, framing, and decking work on waterfront and marine projects

Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal marine construction codes and regulations

Coordinate with project manager, on job site progress

Maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with OSHA standards

Requirements:

Prior experience in marine construction, dock building, or waterfront carpentry preferred

Knowledge of marine materials including treated lumber, composite decking, and pilings

Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy marine construction equipment

Comfortable working on or near water in varying weather conditions

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
