    Job Summary

    We are looking for an experienced Marine Equipment Operator to join our Mercury, MerCruiser, and Volvo Penta authorized service center.

    You will use equipment ranging from hydraulic trailers to our Wiggins Marina Bull to safely transport boats throughout our yard and the water.

    As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for staging, moving, and launching vessels ranging from PWCs to Cabin Cruisers upwards of 25,000 LBS.

    We are seeking an operator with significant experience in marine environments and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable maintaining equipment and performing mechanical duties to assist our marine service department as a fully integrated member of the team.

    We do not have a valet program or a sales department. This position supports the safe and effective operation of our in-house service center.

    Responsibilities

    Boat staging, lifting, hauling, and docking

    Safe use of heavy equipment in precision environments

    Routine equipment maintenance: Hydraulic systems, lubrication schedules, diesel & gas engines

    Fall Haul & Spring Launch: Including boat movement, shrink-wrapping & (de)commissioning

    Basic maintenance & repair of customer vessels

    Ensure customer satisfaction through professionalism & attention to detail

    Written and verbal communication with team members & customers

    Qualifications

    At least 5 years’ experience working with heavy equipment & boats

    Valid Driver's License & Boater's License Required

    Strong customer service and communications skills are required

    Industry certifications (OSHA, Mercury, Volvo Penta, ABYC) are highly desirable; candidates at a minimum must demonstrate equivalent technical proficiency
