Position Overview
Milicia Marine is seeking a high‑energy, easy‑going, and personable Sales & Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. This role is designed for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, is comfortable with technology and social media, and is excited to be part of a hands‑on, fast‑paced marine dealership environment.
This position is not a traditional high‑pressure sales role. The primary focus is generating leads, setting appointments, managing online inventory and social media presence, and supporting management‑led sales closings.
Schedule & Work Environment
Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (5 days per week)
Location: On‑site at Milicia Marine dealership
Events: Required attendance at all special events, boat shows, promotions, including setup and teardown
Flexibility: Occasional extended hours during events or promotions
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Customer Engagement
Greet walk‑in customers and create a welcoming first impression
Set and manage sales appointments for management to close
Follow up with customer leads via phone, text, and email
Assist customers with inventory selection and initial boat presentations
Digital Marketing & Inventory Management
Manage and maintain Milicia Marine’s social media platforms
Upload, update, and maintain inventory on the dealership website
Create and manage Facebook Marketplace listings
Photograph boats and create engaging content for online platforms
Inventory, Presentation & Events
Clean and detail boats for photography, customer showings, and events
Maintain attractive showroom and lot displays
Assist with transporting, staging, and presenting boats at events
Compensation Structure
Base Salary
Base Pay: Minimum wage equivalent
Annual Base Compensation: Approximately $31,600 per year
Base pay provides stability while commissions offer strong earning upside
Commission Structure
Commissions are paid on all major units sold, including:
Outboard engines
Jon boats
Packaged boats
Any other qualifying major marine units
Commissions are earned on all customer-added accessories sold in conjunction with major unit purchases.
Commission Structure Flexibility:
Commission plans will be negotiated at the time of offer
Structure may vary based on how the employee prefers to earn commissions
Options may include per‑unit commissions, percentage‑based commissions, or performance‑based tiers
Expected Commission Earnings:
Based on Milicia Marine’s previous‑year sales and expected growth
Estimated additional annual earnings range:
$5,000 – $30,000+ depending on performance and dealership growth
This structure is designed to reward motivation, consistency, and contribution to overall dealership success.
