Job Summary
We are looking for a Marine Technician to join our Mercury, MerCruiser, and Volvo Penta authorized service center.
As a Marine Tech, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vessels ranging from PWCs to Cabin Cruisers. You must be comfortable (de)commissioning outboards, inboards, and sterndrive engines; be able to work in the tight quarters of a boat's engine compartment; and be familiar with preventative maintenance and diagnostic techniques for marine systems.

Responsibilities
Use your expertise and tools to diagnose & correct vessel issues
Fall Haul & Spring Launch; including shrink-wrap, bottom washing, & boat movement
Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as tune-ups, oil changes, and drive service
Conduct in-depth vessel inspections of all systems, including domestics, engine, and electrical
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business through professionalism & attention to detail
Convey repair information to customers & team members in a clear and concise manner (Written & Verbally)
Maintain own stock of general tools (Wrenches, Sockets, Impact Drivers, Etc.)
Specialty, manufacturer tools & diagnostic equipment provided by Service Department
Qualifications
5 or more year's technician experience in the marine industry
Completion of a marine service technician training program is preferred
ABYC, MerCruiser, Mercury, and VolvoPenta Certifications are preferred
Driver's License & Boater's License Required
Strong customer service and communications skills are required
