  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Leads logistic and communication planning for all events 
    • Develops and maintains key ministry partnerships to enhance the quality and effectiveness of weekend enhancing events (Communications, Production, Experience, Community Life, etc.).
    • Re-imagines future events to bring further alignment with Mariners vision and values. 
    • Builds and manages event volunteer leaders/teams to serve the Mariners community by executing excellent events that inspire people to follow Jesus. 
    • Supports the First Impression team by contributing to the excellence and welcoming presence of the weekend services, creating a seamless Mariners experience for attendees and volunteers alike.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Has demonstrated a personal passion for both events and Mariners Church community
    • Experience managing guest experience in guest services or hospitality industry preferred
    • Ability to oversee greeters and getting first time visitors plugged various ministries.
    • Exhibits a customer service, can do attitude
    • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Adept at project management and empowering volunteer teams
    • Experience with Ministry Platform database management or other relationship management software.
    • Strong track record of building relationships and establishing trust with staff and volunteers
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
