Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partnering with and supporting the Comm Team and other Mariners ministries through creative filming, editing, and photography
• Assisting the Comm Team in all phases of the video production process as needed.
• Management and maintenance of video gear
• Supporting the Video Director in executing weekend services live production and delivery of content for services and podcast

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Flexibility in a quickly paced environment 
• The ability to tell a great story through video and photography
• A strong desire to learn and better their craft
• A go-getter who is observant and takes initiative
• The ability to problem solve and think on their feet quickly in high-pressure situations
• High level communication and organizational skills
• Understanding and experience of video principles
• Basic knowledge of video formats and codecs
• Competency in the Adobe Creative Suite Platform
• Spiritual discernment, emotional intelligence, and an ability to establish a rapport with artists, musicians, and teaching pastors
• Must work well alone and in a team environment
• Attention to detail on time sensitive projects
• Ability to turn around projects with excellence on short timelines

• Motion Graphic skills
• Photography skills
