    Job Description

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department (AR, AP, Payroll)
    • Manage and develop the accounting team
    • Monitor department workflows to develop efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy and strong internal controls
    • Partner with Payroll Manager to serve as backup
    • Prepare and file tax returns
    • Assist with annual audit, accounting tasks, and ad hoc projects as needed
    • Assist with fixed assets

    Qualifications

    • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Accounting
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
    • Knowledgeable in AR, AP, payroll, imputed tax, sales tax, GAAP
    • Experience with supervising staff
    • Detailed, analytical, organized, and able to apply discretion with confidential information
    • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem solving skills
    • Self driven and adaptable to change
    • Proficient with Google Suite, Excel, ERP software
