Responsibilities: • Represent clients in complex family law cases, ensuring their rights and interests are protected at every stage. • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with precision and attention to detail. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide clients with informed guidance. • Lead negotiations and mediations, striving for amicable resolutions that align with clients' goals and values. • Advocate for clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and evidence to achieve favorable outcomes. • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure seamless case management and client satisfaction. • Maintain open and empathetic communication with clients, keeping them informed and empowered throughout the legal process. Qualifications: • Self-Starter Mentality: Takes ownership of cases, works independently, and approaches challenges with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. • Open-Minded Legal Approach: Flexible and adaptable in case management, leveraging innovative legal strategies to secure favorable outcomes. • Proven Trial Experience: Confident courtroom presence with demonstrable success in evidentiary hearings and full trials. Trial acumen is non-negotiable. • Exceptional Judgment: Exercises sound legal and strategic judgment under pressure, always prioritizing the client’s best interests while upholding the highest ethical standards. • Mastery of Court Procedure: Strong command of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Family Law Rules, and local judicial practices. • Advanced Negotiation Skills: Skilled in negotiating settlements effectively inside and outside of court, balancing assertiveness with diplomacy. • Articulate and Persuasive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft compelling pleadings and deliver persuasive arguments. • Mediation & Settlement Experience: Proficient in managing mediations and settlement conferences with professionalism and focus on resolution. • Professional Networking: Capable of building and maintaining professional relationships, and willing to participate in firm-sponsored and community-based networking events. • Deposition Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in taking and defending depositions is highly valued. • Licensure: Active Florida Bar membership in good standing. Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
