Position: Market Intelligence Intern

Reports To: Senior Director, Market Intelligence
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Type: Paid Internship (Temporary Part-Time or Temporary Full-Time, depending on candidate availability)
Duration: Up to six months
Compensation: $25 per hour

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Market Intelligence Intern will support ACEC's Senior Director of Market Intelligence in delivering high‑quality research, analysis, and administrative coordination across several strategic initiatives. This role provides hands‑on experience in market research, business development trends, committee operations, and association management within the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
The intern will assist with the day‑to‑day activities of the Market Intelligence Committee , the Business Development & Marketing Forum, and ACEC's broader market research and business resources and education programs. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or early‑career professional interested in market analysis, economics, public policy, business development, or the built environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Current student or recent graduate in economics, business, marketing, public policy, urban studies/planning, data analytics, communications , or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information clearly.
Excellent writing and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
