    Role Description:

    As a Market Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring Quantiq’s live trading environment. You’ll help oversee and support live trading activity during the Asian and/or European trading sessions. Your insights into the relationship between infrastructure, data, and market behavior will help shape operational decisions and contribute directly to the success of our overnight trading strategies.     Job Responsibilities:

    Analyze markets and news-flow to optimize existing trading operations

    Calculate daily P&L and position balances

    Collaborate with the tech team to identify and resolve production issues

    Support the release of new algorithms by responding and documenting unusual behaviors or market conditions

    Develop analytical tools and processes to enhance operational platforms

    Assist the tech team in the conversion of manual processes to automatic systems

    Qualifications:

    Exceptional attention to detail

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    Reliable and adaptable team player

    Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences

    Comfortable building tools for automation

    Willingness to learn about financial systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    3+ years experience in an analytical field or comparable detail oriented environment

    Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math, etc.)

    Experience in Python and Excel

    Strong knowledge of Linux
