The MarketAxess Elevate Program is a two-day event that will give insight into what it's like to work at a fast-growing global FinTech (financial technology) firm from our very own people at MarketAxess.

Throughout the day, you will be introduced and learn about the FinTech industry, get exposure to leaders at MarketAxess and in the FinTech space, build networking skills and connections, and better understand how to be successful in your career.  

The MarketAxess Elevate program reinforces our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by recognizing diverse talent from various universities; and providing a space for students of historically underrepresented backgrounds in financial technology to excel and be considered for a 2022 summer internship.

The day will consist of: 

• Welcome to MarketAxess
• Overview of Sales, Operations, and Technology by leaders in the division 
• Resume Workshop
• Mock Interview Workshop
• Leadership Workshop
• Networking Session
• Panel discussion (involving Q+A)
• Team-building activity 
• Round table discussion (involving Q+A) with former interns 
• Keynote Speaker

Throughout the day, you will be assessed on your various contributions. Successful candidates will receive an invitation to attend one of our early Superday's to interview for a 2022 summer internship opportunity. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

• Must be graduating in December 2022 or May 2023
• You are a student who identifies as someone from a traditionally underrepresented background (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Filipino, Vietnamese, Hmong, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and/or Native American descent)
• Currently studying Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: 
  • Business 
  • Finance 
  • Economics 
  • Computer science

   

• Strong academic background with leadership qualities 
• Interest in the fin-tech space 
• A passionate student leader 
• Interest in working/living in the New York City area
